Our History
Founded in 2004, Earthworm Attachments is proud to now be New Zealand’s leading provider of high-quality hydraulic attachments.
It started when we won the opportunity to become New Zealand distributor for AugerTorque – a world-renowned brand and a sign of things to come.
Their confidence in our expertise was soon matched by others, and Earthworm has grown over the years to where we are now New Zealand’s leading distributor for the world’s most reputable attachment brands.
It’s work that’s close to our heart. As a family we have always been into machinery. Steve started as a mechanic working on Mercedes Benz trucks in the 1970s and later went into farm machinery before branching into construction equipment in the late 1990s.
Steve’s sons Ben, Rick, and Jerry were bought up around this machinery. Ben and Rick started honing their skills on the water blaster at primary school. Jerry grew up to join them at the family business. The boys have come a long way since.
Over the decades we have succeeded by matching the focus of our service with the capability of our machinery. Each must connect and adapt, strengthening and empowering our customers’ work in every minute of equipment operation.
We now look forward to many more years increasing the profitability and utilisation of New Zealand’s heavy industry equipment.
